I WROTE THIS BOOK based on  personal experience.  I know first-hand what it is like not to have any information to guide and direct you with all of the things that need to be taken care of not only immediately after the death but also after the Funeral Service is over.  I am very familiar with the feelings of helplessness, bewilderment, confusion, anger and sadness that overwhelms you when you loose someone you love. 
The first time I experienced the death of a loved one and it came time to take care of their personal and financial affairs, I just didn't know what to do!  I called funeral homes, book stores, libraries, financial institutions, clergy, etc. in an attempt to obtain some kind of list that would identify the people, places and agencies that I needed to contact.  I needed some kind of guide to tell me all the multitudes of details that I needed to take care of but, to my amazement, I found nothing! I had to rely on my own instincts and the experiences of others!  Consequently, I decided to write a book that would contain every possible detail so that all someone would have to do is read it, select what is applicable to them and resolve the matter easily. 
 It took over 2½ years to thoroughly research the numerous topics that are covered in this book so that I could provide you with a comprehensive "shopping list" of every possible detail you may be presented with after the death.  
When the Journey of Life Ends does not give any legal advice or council, but rather, its intent is to help the reader identify what needs to be done and to direct them to the proper people and resources who can help them!
Over the years, this book has been sold all over the country to businesses and individuals alike; and, the positive feedback received has been outstanding!  It has reinforced my belief that this book is an extraordinary benefit to everyone who has the opportunity to have one in their possession.
